Sorona mesh, HyphaLite, and MIRUM upper. Bamboo fiber and recycled polyester lining. Recycled OrthoLite footbed. Sugarcane EVA midsole. Natural rubber outsole. TENCEL Lyocell laces. The Tormenta is a futuristic new silhouette from CAMPERLAB. At the core, it is a running shoe that is reimagined in a forward-thinking manner, executed in alternative materials to lower environmental impact. The sneaker is defined by a warped outsole that wraps over the upper and extends towards the curved lacing system. Plant-based fiber Sorona, a mushroom-derived regenerative compound known as HyphaLite, and plastic-free leather alternative MIRUM are used on the upper, while the sole is made from natural rubber, the lining from bamboo, and the laces from wood-pulp-based fiber TENCEL.
